What Sona is

Sona is a speech-practice application operated by ADARA ENTERPRISES F.Z.C. It offers guided pronunciation practice, feedback, an AI conversation partner and progress reports. By using Sona you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Not medical advice — important

Sona is a practice companion, not a medical device and not a provider of medical care. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for evaluation or therapy by a qualified speech-language pathologist or physician. Scores are informal practice feedback, not clinical measurements. Always follow the guidance of your care team. If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including new or worsening speech difficulty, which can be a sign of stroke — call your local emergency number immediately.

Accounts

Sona creates an anonymous account automatically so your progress saves; you can attach an email to keep it across devices. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your email secure.

Subscriptions, trials & refunds

• The core practice experience is free. Sona Plus ($9.99/month or $79/year) unlocks the AI conversation partner, the full clinical report and all languages. Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
• The 7-day free trial requires no card and ends automatically — you fall back to the free plan, never to a surprise charge. One trial per account.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time via “Manage subscription” in Settings; you keep Plus until the end of the paid period.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. If something went wrong with a charge, contact us within 14 days and we’ll make it right.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse Sona: no unlawful use, no attempting to break, probe or overload the service, no reverse-engineering, and no using the AI partner to generate abusive content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Your content & our IP

Your recordings and progress are yours. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (processing audio for feedback, storing results). Sona’s software, design and content remain our property.

Disclaimers & liability

Sona is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Speech recognition is imperfect and scores may be inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. If we make material changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date. Continuing to use Sona after changes means you accept them. Questions: gabrieltoro@proton.me.
