Who we are

Sona (“we”, “us”) is operated by ADARA ENTERPRISES F.Z.C. Sona is a speech-practice companion for people recovering their speech, and for the families and caregivers supporting them. For anything in this policy, contact gabrieltoro@proton.me.

What we collect

• Account data. Sona works without sign-up: we create an anonymous account so your progress saves. If you add your email (to keep progress across devices or during checkout), we store it.
• Voice recordings. When you practice, your audio is sent securely to our speech-processing provider (ElevenLabs) to be transcribed and scored. We store the resulting results (transcripts, scores, sound-level statistics) — these power your progress charts and reports. We do not sell your voice data or use it for advertising.
• Progress data. Practice history, scores, streaks and settings, stored with your account in our database (Supabase).
• Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we store only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
• Usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and (when enabled) the Meta Pixel to understand how the product is used and to measure our advertising — e.g. pages visited, feature events like “completed the speech check”. These tools may use cookies or similar identifiers.

How we use it

• To provide Sona: scoring your speech, adapting your practice, showing progress.
• To sync your progress across devices when you add an email.
• To process subscriptions and trials.
• To send service emails (e.g. sign-in links, trial reminders).
• To improve the product and measure marketing.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your voice recordings to train our own AI models.

Who processes it for us

Supabase (database & authentication), ElevenLabs (speech transcription, speech synthesis and the conversation partner), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting & analytics), Google (analytics) and Meta (advertising measurement, when enabled). Each receives only what it needs to do its job. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries.

Retention & your rights

We keep your data while your account exists. Email us to access, correct, export or delete your data — deletion removes your account and progress permanently. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU or UK), you may have additional legal rights, which we honor.

Health information

Your speech recordings and practice results may reflect a health condition. We treat them as sensitive: they are used only to provide your feedback and progress, never for advertising, and are shared only with the processors listed above. Sona is not a healthcare provider and this data is not a medical record.

Children

Sona is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above.
